Our successful client is seeking a Supplier Development Officer to join their team. Working hours will be 37.5 hours between 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday with one hour break for lunch to be taken flexibly. This role would suit someone from a investigative or audit background such as fraud investigation, in-depth claims investigation, supplier or business audit background, or someone with conveyancing legal background with strong analytical skills.
Main Purpose of Job
Joining a team that form relationships with suppliers from an approved panel of mutual trust and respect to ensure excellent service delivery and capacity management is delivered for all the businesses professional services.
Specific Tasks
Administrative support to the Audit and Performance Review process
Be part of a team that implements a risk management procedure to monitor and control the risks associated with outsourcing to third parties; including file reviews and registration reviews of the law firms
Provide the first line support for queries/complaints/service delivery
Ensure all supplier panel details are loaded and up-dated onto our intranet applications and web sites; including ensuring that we are complying with the terms of business.
Production and monitoring of reports including board stats.
Administration e.g. ensure all addresses are up-to-date, drop firms etc
Monitor removed firms to ensure prompt completion of active cases
Provide management information and reporting to the Company
To provide training to the firms in all areas of their work with us
Assist other members of the business with their projects as opportunities arise.
The ideal applicant will have experience/ ability:
Highly numerate and literate with strong communication skills
Sociable and personable
Team builder/player
Previous experience in project management would be advantage
Previous audit/ investigation experience
Essential UK Driving licence
