Our highly successful and established client is seeking to recruit an Internal Sales/Customer Services Assistant due to expansion.Working in a friendly and hard working team and reporting to the Business Development Manager, your normal weekly hours will be 37.5 hours per week between 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday (part time hours will also be considered).In return the business offers a great working environment, modern spacious office environment and a host of employee benefits including an initial 22 days holiday rising to 26 days, 5% pension contributions and free on-site parking to name a few.Salary Circa £20-24K + commission
Reporting to the Business Development Manager your main focus will be to identify and qualify new business leads and opportunities for the suite of products and services.
Roles and Responsibilities
Making outbound telephone calls to identify and qualify new opportunities and book meetings for the BDM
Co-ordinate the follow-up on email marketing campaigns with prospective customers
Record and log all activity on the company CRM system
Update and maintain the Accounts and Contacts on the company CRM system
Assist with BDM meeting follow-ups – recording meeting outcomes, co-ordinating next steps, assisting with the production of proposals, opportunity pipeline management.
Attendance at industry events (Conferences, Seminars, Exhibitions) to assist with identification of new sales leads and opportunities
Co-ordinate the follow-up from industry events – logging new contacts and following up interest
Monitor potential opportunities that appear on the Tender Portal
Assist the BDM with the co-ordination of Tender submissions
Attendance at monthly Marketing meetings with the Managing Director, Marketing Manager, BDM, Development Manager and Asset Management Consultant.
Production of regular (weekly and monthly) activity reports – calls & contacts made, appointments booked, opportunity and sales reports
Keep up to speed with industry news and publications via subscription to industry magazines and websites
Receiving inbound telephone\email support calls, triage requests, log new support tickets and pass on to the relevant area
Deal with “How do I” requests from clients for the various products
Experience and Skills Required
Exceptional customer services skills both inbound and outbound
Previous successful consultative telesales and face to face sales - used to making high volume calls whilst cleansing database
Used to working to sales targets in a high pressured environment
Used to working with a CRM system to log all calls and activity
Proactive, confident, professional, hungry to succeed personally and for the business, team player, ability to "plate-spin with a smile"
