Our Warrington based client is seeking a Multi Lingual Helpdesk Advisor to join their small yet growing team. The business provides a sales and after service and due to business growth is seeking a Helpdesk Advisor to join their team. Working on a rota system that is finalised 4 weeks in advance, the full time role is working 40 hours, either 4 days in the week and 1 day of a weekend or 5 days in the week (will consider part time working). Successful candidates must be fluent in written and spoken French and English, you will be providing functional support to clients, and escalating to second line support if there is no first fix resolution. Full training on products will be provided.

Duties will include:

  • Triage incoming calls from the UK and France and recording details onto our CRM database system
  • Provide functional support to clients which will involve using remote connections such as Team Viewer and VPN
  • Scheduling Reactive Maintenance visits for Field Service Technicians when required
  • Making outbound Preventative Maintenance calls to clients to check whether equipment is operating correctly
  • Monitoring the live calls database, making sure all calls are completed within set service level agreement targets
  • Administration upon request, such as tracking equipment serial numbers, warranty information and maintenance trackers
  • Attending Training Sessions relating to equipment and software support
  • Providing assistance to internal colleagues and any other reasonable requests within the company


Candidates must have:

  • A background within a customer service role / experience within a helpdesk role or call centre would be an advantage
  • Experienced user of Windows, Outlook, Excel
  • Have confidence and an interest in IT
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Team ethos
  • The ability to problem solve and use own initiative
  • Willing to learn new skills and adapt within a changing environment
  • Knowledge of VPN would be advantageous
  • Fluent French and English

The candidate must be available to work on a rota the below hours.

  • 07:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday
  • 07:00 - 20:00 Saturday's
  • 09:00 - 19:00 Sunday's
