An exciting opportunity to join our highly reputable and established client based in Liverpool City Centre. They are experts in their field and provide their services to both large global organisations through to smaller businesses. Their brand new role is Business Developer.

Daily Responsibilities:
•Promotion and selling of a range of services direct to businesses
•Make outbound calls to prospective customers to explore their needs and challenges.
•Attend networking events and occasionally both international and national travel to attend events.
•Build rapport with prospective customers over numerous communication touch points including email and LinkedIn.
•Face-to-face meetings with prospects to deliver your proposals
•Objection handling, manage expectations and agree terms with prospect customers.
•Manage, research and update your sales pipeline on a daily basis
•Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Managing Director to review
•Work closely with our Project Manager and Managing Director to win new business from larger corporate prospect customers
•Consistently meet or exceed personal sales targets by the end of your probationary period and beyond
•Constantly develop your sales and leadership skills.
•Regularly contacting existing clients to maintain relationships and boost sales.
•Be the first point of call for clients if there are any issues.

Person Specification

Although full training will be provided, you will demonstrate at all times that you are a pro-active, passionate and motivated person, looking to sell and deliver high quality services to our clients.
An integral part of this role is an understanding and appreciation of their industry and an ability to demonstrate this to their customers. Above all, they are looking for a super motivated person with a passion for B2B relationship building and sales.

Key Requirements:

•High energy, drive and determination to consistently hit targets
•Previous B2B sales experience ideally within a services-based industry
•Confident on the phone and speaking to decision making members of organisations
•Excellent communication skills with a thoroughly engaging personality
•Excellent IT and research skills
•A hunger and passion to sell in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent relationship building and management skills
•Excellent organisational skills are essential
